Alpbach, August 22, 2024 – The Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans (OSF-WB) hosted an exciting networking event during the European Forum Alpbach 2024, bringing together a dynamic group of scholarship holders from the region.

OSF-WB’s Director, Andi Dobrushi, and Deputy Director, Miodrag Milosavljevic, engaged with these young scholars, who passionately shared their visions for the future of their countries.

Mr. Andi Dobrushi highlighted that the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans is deeply committed to youth empowerment and supporting emerging leaders. He noted that by fostering collaboration and providing a platform for dialogue, OSF-WB aims to ensure that the next generation plays a central role in shaping the future of their communities.

Mr. Miodrag Milosavljevic spoke about the importance of nurturing talent in the region and the need for active engagement in policy-making processes. He stressed that empowering young leaders is crucial for addressing the challenges facing the Western Balkans.
