This research serves as an initial assessment, exploring various facets of educational environments across selected schools. It’s designed to establish a baseline before integrating photovoltaic (PV) technology on school rooftops, with a focus on understanding its impact on school dynamics, energy efficiency, economic factors, and academic performance. The study targets students, parents, and teachers in lower and upper secondary levels, incorporating both initial and mid-term evaluations to measure the effects of PV adaptations. This comprehensive study spanned multiple countries, including North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Kosovo, providing a broad perspective on the influence of green energy initiatives in educational environment.
