It is no coincidence that we have dedicated this issue of European Magazine to environmental issues. There are so many reasons behind this. Among them: (1) it’s rare that environmental problems preoccupy the attention of our citizens, and that of the administration in charge, (2) in recent years, as large development projects were undertaken, the quality of the environment has been endangered as never before, and (3) the European perspective of our country obliges us to change our approach to wards the environment that surrounds us, and to the development projects of our country.
