Kosovo has a serious image problem. In many European countries, the name ‘Koso­vo’ still conjures up images of ethnic conflict and organized crime. This calls for a coordinated response by government institutions and civil society. Image matters; especially for a young state like Kosovo eager to become active in world diplomacy, attract investors and join Euro-Atlantic institutions. With international recognitions still hanging in the balance, the country’s reputation is of greatest importance.
