Written by George Kyris and Juan Manuel Montoro, the policy analysis “Kosovo’s Sports Diplomacy: Accessing the international, building the national” tries to understand the way in which sports, and consequently other cultural activities, and statehood interplay in Kosovo, which, in turn, allows for a fuller understanding of the complexities of statehood. Not only because Kosovo’s effort at taking part in sports and other culture-related activities are quite substantial but also because they have mostly escaped analyses, which tend to concentrate on more high politics themes.

This policy brief is part of a series of publications produced by the Kosovo Research and Analysis Fellowship (KRAF), an initiative by KFOS.

Shkruar nga George Kyris dhe Juan Manuel Montoro, dokumenti i politikave “Diplomacia Sportive e Kosovës: Duke iu qasur ndërkombëtares; duke e ndërtuar kombëtaren” mundohet të kuptojë  mënyrën se si sporti, dhe për rrjedhojë aktivitetet e tjera kulturore, ndërveprojnë me shtetësinë në Kosovë, të cilat kësisoj na japin një kuptim me të plotë të kompleksiteteve të shtetësisë. Dhe kjo jo vetëm se përpjekjet e Kosovës për të marrë pjesë në aktivitete sportive dhe kulturore janë mjaft substanciale, por edhe se ato në përgjithësi u janë përvjedhur analizave, të cilat përqendrohen kryesisht te temat e larta politike.
