The Open Society Foundation for Albania has analyzed the 2013 draft budget, which is currently being discussed in Parliament, with a focus on:

The key indicators of the 2013 Draft Budget

The projected financing for priority sectors – Education, Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Agriculture – as well as Local Government

The budgetary support projected for several aspects of the key priorities in the process of EU integration, specifically:

– Justice and Order – Priorities 7, 8, 9, and 12 of the European Commission for Albania’s application for membership

– Public Administration – Priority 6

– Property – Priority 10

– Institutional support for this process.

The report has been made available to Parliament to inform its debate on the 2013 Draft Budget, as well as to the general public.
