The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in Albania – BIRN Albania presents the report “Reporting of Corruption in Audiovisual and Print Media” – funded by OSFA as part of the “Challenging the Culture of Impunity” program. This report evaluates the nature and typology of the Albanian media’s reporting on corruption, as well as their compliance with basic journalism principles.

The findings of this monitoring report aim to serve as a reference material to assist local and international actors involved in media development in Albania, journalists’ unions, as well as journalists and editors, in undertaking projects and actions that will enhance the quality and quantity of reporting on corruption, impunity, and the effectiveness of anti-corruption policies.
