Aleksandra Sula serves as Finance Manager at the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans. She is responsible for undertaking, in collaboration with others both internal and external to the Western Balkans office in their base country, a variety of interventions organized around financial management area that are part of the overall operations of the Western Balkans office. The work may include oversight, review and management of financial operations.

Responsible for budgeting, the Finance Manager compiles annual budgets for OSF-WB and country offices in alignment with organizational guidelines and donor standards. She ensures compliance with relevant laws and standards, oversee accounting systems, and manage audit preparation. Internally, she oversees communication and provide financial reports to stakeholders, while externally, she manages financial transactions and liaise with partners. Additionally, she supervises administrative procedures, reviews grant applications, and contributes to policy development.

She gained experience in finance roles at public institutions before joining the IFRC in Tirana in 1991. She is working with the OSF based in Tirana since 1995 and manages multi-million budgets from various donors, mainly from the OSF, but also from the European Union, Switzerland, and other donors.
