Valjevo Community Forum Sparks Transformative Climate Action

On September 25, 2024 Valjevo hosted a Community Forum under the “Green Generation: Schools Engaged in Climate Action” project. Over 120 participants, including school leaders, students, and city representatives, collaborated to address school challenges using energy efficiency savings from solar panels.
During the forum, participants voted on priority projects, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to community-focused environmental programs. The outcomes were presented to the Mayor of Valjevo, showcasing the power of participatory decision-making in fostering sustainable development.
