Milan Nič is senior fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), where he focuses on European politics and CEE/SEE countries, Germany’s foreign policy, EU enlargement, and the Western Balkans. Previously, he was senior adviser to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Slovakia and managing director at the GLOBSEC Policy Institute in Bratislava. Prior to that, he advised the High Representative/EU Special Representative in Sarajevo and worked as a broadcaster at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague. Milan studied international relations, political science and modern history at the Charles University in Prague, the Central European University in Budapest, and SAIS Johns Hopkins University.
